My Loving Bi+ Community

For so long, I thought I was the only one. The only one who felt this way, who thought these things, who desired these things. I was so lost, and I felt so alone. But then I found them. Or rather, they found me. My Bi+ community. And for the first time in my life, I felt seen. I felt understood. I felt like I belonged somewhere.

Why Is Community Important?

‍For me, the community is everything. It's a safe space where we can be our true selves; where we can be open and honest about our thoughts, our feelings, and our desires. It's a place where we can share our stories and be heard; where we can offer support and receive support in return. It's a place of acceptance; a place of love. And for someone like me who has always felt like an outsider, the community is everything.

What Does Bi+ Mean?
The term "bi+" is an umbrella term used to describe anyone who identifies as bisexual+, pansexual+, queer+, or fluid+. Anyone who is attracted to more than one gender—regardless of how they label themselves—falls under the bi+ umbrella.
