When it comes to promoting fairness and equality, few things are more important than combating discrimination and intolerance toward the LGBT community. With the ongoing prevalence of bias in our society, it is vital that we put efforts into creating inclusive environments that allow for open dialogues about experiences of prejudice, as well as resources to help protect against it

Publicly Private has been working hard to bring at-home resources to the LGBTQIA+ community, such as testing kits, Telehealth visits, and online group therapy. All of these amenities promote better health care outcomes for those who may have a difficult time accessing them outside their homes due to safety concerns or other factors. Additionally, Publicly Private's mission isn't just about ensuring physical health - its also about building mental resilience and empowering individuals by providing educational materials related to legal rights and advocacy training.

We are working hard to make sure that everyone is able to access the resources they need without facing any sort of discrimination or judgement because of their identity. Providing this type of support is vital for ensuring that the LGBT community is not only protected, but also feels accepted as full members of their communities.

How can we fight against discrimination and intolerance toward the LGBT? Here are some tips:

  • Educate yourself on issues related to diversity and inclusion: By being aware and understanding different perspectives related to social justice issues, you’ll be better equipped when engaging in discussions around LGBT rights.
  • Call out inappropriate behavior: If you see anyone making fun of someone’s sex or gender identity, don’t stay silent - speak up! Even if it seems like you’re alone in calling out bad behavior, stand your ground and make it known that this kind of attitude won’t be tolerated in your presence or on your watch.
  • Advocate for equality: Whether its voting for policies that promote fair treatment or simply speaking out on conversations happening within your circles – getting involved in advocacy helps ensure justice is served for all people regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity

It's important that allies keep pushing against prejudice and strive towards progress every day by supporting organizations like Publicly Private which provide an invaluable service within our communities – one where everyone should feel safe enough to exist without fear or judgement because of their identity.
